I am the NHBP Enrollment Specialist. I started working for the tribe in November 2007. I have several years of office experience. This includes customer service, data entry, filing and systems analysis which all help in my current job. My job responsibilities include enrolling new Tribal Members, issuing ID cards, updating Tribal Member addresses and keeping the enrollment files up to date.
Tribal Enrollment Eligibility:
The criteria for enrolling in the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of
the Potawatomi is as follows:
1. All persons and their descendents listed on the 1904
Taggart Indian Census Roll.
2. All persons whose ancestors are listed as Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi on any payment roll, census, or records made for the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi by officials or agents of the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs.
3. It shall be the responsibility of the individual applying for the membership to present evidence of meeting the above criteria to the Tribal Council.
